Softball Recap: Briarwood Academy Comes Up Short

Briarwood Academy couldn't beat Brentwood on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Buccaneers came up short against the War Eagles, falling 15-6. The Buccaneers have struggled against the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Briarwood Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Brentwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, Briarwood Academy will head out to face off against Gatewood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season. As for Brentwood, they will welcome Lake Oconee Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
