Baseball Recap: Pulaski County Takes a Loss

Pulaski County suffered their biggest loss since March 24th on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Salem Spartans. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Seth Carter made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Salem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record this season.

Pulaski County will take on Christiansburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
