After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tennessee School for the Deaf, Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 45-14 win over the Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats. With the Trojans ahead 34-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Robert Brown and Salan Saied. Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf received some extra help from Nick Zentic Jr, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

The victory got Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf back to even at 1-1. As for Iowa School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf and Iowa School for the Deaf will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Trojans see the field they'll take on Arkansas School for the Deaf at 2:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Iowa School for the Deaf, their break will end when they face Washington School for the Deaf at 1:00 p.m. on the 18th.
