Soccer Recap: Petaluma Takes Down Winters in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Petaluma had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Winters Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Grace Forney and Chloe Bulwa scored both of Petaluma's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Petaluma has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. With the defeat, Winters broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-2.

Coming up, Petaluma will challenge Fresno Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fresno Christian will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Petaluma surely won't give up without a fight. Winters does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
