Baseball Recap: Stearns Comes Up Short

Stearns fell victim to Mattanawcook and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Lynx, falling 13-0. If the Minutemen were looking for revenge after losing 19-0 to the Lynx when the teams met back in June of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Stearns and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Mattanawcook, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Stearns will host Schenck at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mattanawcook, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-3 win against George Stevens Academy on the 15th.
