Soccer Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss

Peninsula lost against South back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Peninsula Panthers lost 3-0 to the South Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Spartans are ranked 32nd).

Peninsula has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8-2 record this season. As for South, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1.

Peninsula will take on North at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South, they will face off against Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
