Western played against the Colonists and lost via forfeit.
Western's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-11. As for Anaheim, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. Savanna presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Pioneers in California (the Rebels are ranked 332nd, while the Pioneers are ranked 974th). As for Anaheim, they will be playing at home against the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Teresa Martinez and Elise Marquez.
