Football Recap: Parker Floyd Leads Orrick's Defense on Friday

It's playoff time, and Orrick had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past Northland Christian with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 32-14. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with Northland Christian: they've now won three in a row.

Orrick didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Parker Floyd, Trenton Mahurin, and Dalton Lorino picked up one apiece. Orrick got some further help from Lucas Walker: he made 24 total tackles.

Orrick's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Northland Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coming up, Orrick will square off against Norborne/Hardin-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
