Baseball Game Preview: Eastchester Eagles vs. Rye Garnets

The Eastchester Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Rye Garnets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Eastchester turned things around against Brewster on Saturday. They came out on top against the Bears by a score of 5-2.

Meanwhile, Rye got themselves on the board against Harrison last Saturday, but Harrison never followed suit. They blew past the Huskies 8-0. The win continues a trend for the Garnets in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won six in a row.

Eastchester's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Rye, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.

Eastchester couldn't quite finish off Rye in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
