Soccer Recap: Monterey Trail Takes a Loss

Monterey Trail managed to keep up with Pleasant Grove until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Monterey Trail Mustangs lost 4-0 to the Pleasant Grove Eagles. The Mustangs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Monterey Trail's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9-4. As for Pleasant Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Elk Grove the next time they take the pitch. Pleasant Grove will host Elk Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Monterey Trail will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
