Football Recap: Panorama Takes a Loss

Panorama lost against San Fernando back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pythons came up short against the Tigers, falling 34-14. The Pythons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Fernando to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Newchurch, who picked up 111 receiving yards, and also rushed for 40 yards. Newchurch showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 62 yards. Julian Sarzo was another key passer, throwing for 177 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.

Panorama's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for San Fernando, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Panorama will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Van Nuys at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for San Fernando, they will face off against Sylmar at 7:30 p.m. on the 18th.
