Walton has gone 8-2 against Marietta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Raiders will welcome the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Walton's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Marietta has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Monday, Walton got the win against Campbell by a conclusive 12-4. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Marietta fell victim to North Cobb and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 16-0 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Marietta now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Walton, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Everything went Walton's way against Marietta in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Walton made off with a 9-1 victory. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
