Baseball Recap: Cedartown Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Cedartown Bulldogs came up short against the Allatoona Buccaneers and fell 5-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly three runs.

Cedartown saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Trejo, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Trejo hit this season.

Cedartown's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Allatoona, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

While Cedartown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
