Baseball Recap: George Washington Takes a Loss

George Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fleming Colonels.

George Washington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rodney Carter Jr, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double was Carter Jr's first of the season. Legend Pinchback was another, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

George Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Fleming, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-18.

As of now, neither George Washington nor the Colonels have any future games scheduled.
