Cook got themselves on the board against Tattnall County on Friday, but Tattnall County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Warriors. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Cook and bumps their season record up to 17-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Tattnall County, they dropped their record down to 6-20 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Cook will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
