Soccer Recap: Southeast Polk Gets the Win

Southeast Polk kept a clean sheet against Wilton on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Beavers. That's two games straight that Southeast Polk have won by just one goal.

The win made it two in a row for Southeast Polk and bumps their season record up to 6-7-6. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Wilton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7-2 record this season.

Southeast Polk has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Durant on the 10th. Wilton has also already played their next matchup (against Kennedy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
