Basketball Recap: California Lutheran Takes a Loss

California Lutheran won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Sherman Indian Braves and fell 54-13. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the C-Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-11 back in December of 2024.

Cailin Schroeder was California Lutheran's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Sofiia Klochkova held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

California Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Sherman Indian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-3.

California Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-11 defeat against California School for the Deaf-Riverside on the 27th. Sherman Indian has also already played their next game (against La Sierra Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
