Softball Recap: Cassville Takes a Loss

Cassville lost against Bolivar back in September of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 11-8 to the Liberators. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cassville saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Stoufer, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another was Madi Yockey, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Cassville's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Bolivar, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Cassville and Bolivar will both be playing McDonald County the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Mustangs at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Liberators will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
