Football Game Preview: L.C. Bird Skyhawks vs. Cosby Titans + Official Tickets

L.C. Bird is 9-1 against Cosby since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Skyhawks will be playing at home against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Cosby took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on L.C. Bird, who comes in off a win.

L.C. Bird's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over Clover Hill. The Skyhawks haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Tyrell Allen, who rushed for 189 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. L.C. Bird is undefeated when Allen posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise. Another back making a difference was Julian Burton, who rushed for 89 yards and one TD on only seven carries.

L.C. Bird didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Thomas Delbridge and Ty Juan Taylor.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cosby's offense. They took a blow against Midlothian on Friday, falling 28-0. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for L.C. Bird, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

L.C. Bird strolled past Cosby when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 42-27. Will the Skyhawks repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
