Baseball Recap: Bremen Comes Up Short

After flying high against Crete-Monee on Wednesday, Bremen came back down to earth. The Braves lost 13-1 to the St. Rita Mustangs on Saturday. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Bremen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Herrera, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Bremen's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for St. Rita, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Bremen nor St. Rita have any future games scheduled.
