Football Recap: West Ranch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Ranch was the 27-21 winner over Canyon when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 34-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canyon had a senior duo take command as Keyshawn Wooten rushed for 211 yards and one TD while picking up 9.2 yards per carry and Semaj Richardson rushed for 83 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. With that strong performance, Wooten is now averaging an impressive 109.2 rushing yards per game.

West Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Canyon, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

As of now, neither West Ranch nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
