Baseball Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Lumpkin County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-8 defeat on Thursday.

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lumpkin County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chestatee will square off against rival Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lumpkin County is set to face off against their familiar foe Greater Atlanta Christian at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
