Softball Recap: Parkway South Comes Up Short

Parkway South was the 7-4 winner over Eureka when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 12-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered against the Wildcats since September 10, 2018.

This is the second loss in a row for Parkway South and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Eureka, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkway South will take on Cor Jesu Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Eureka, they will challenge Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
