Baseball Game Preview: Greendale Panthers vs. Pewaukee Pirates

For the second straight game, Greendale will face off against Pewaukee. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Pirates at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Greendale came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to Pewaukee. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost three in a row.

The win (which was Pewaukee's 16th in a row) raised their record to 20-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Greendale, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.
