Softball Game Preview: George-Little Rock Mustangs vs. Akron-Westfield Westerners

The George-Little Rock Mustangs will head out to square off against the Akron-Westfield Westerners at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. George-Little Rock has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since June 9.

On Monday, George-Little Rock came up short against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union and fell 4-1.

Meanwhile, Akron-Westfield entered their matchup against West Lyon on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Westerners fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Westerners have suffered since May 25, 2024.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Akron-Westfield, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 17-3.
