Softball Recap: Valwood Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Valwood can now relate to. They fell 5-1 to the John Milledge Academy Trojans on Friday.

Valwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aahna Mattis, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Valwood now has a losing record of 10-11. As for John Milledge Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Valwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John Milledge Academy, they will face off against Pinewood Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
