Basketball Recap: Gracemont Comes Up Short

Gracemont lost against Cement back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Gracemont Lions took a blow against the Cement Bulldogs, falling 62-23. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gracemont's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Cement, they moved to 2-14 with that victory, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gracemont will head out to square off against ASTEC Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gracemont is facing ASTEC Charter at the right time seeing as ASTEC Charter is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Cement, they are taking a road trip to take on Dove Science Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dove Science Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Cement likes a good challenge.
