Soccer Game Preview: Berea-Midpark vs. North

The Berea-Midpark Titans will head out to challenge the North Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berea-Midpark's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Berea-Midpark managed to keep up with Cleveland Heights until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Titans came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for North's offense. They lost 4-0 to Stow-Munroe Falls on Saturday. While losing is never fun, North can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Stow-Munroe Falls are ranked 124th).

Berea-Midpark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-3. As for North, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-2.

Berea-Midpark beat North 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September of 2017. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Rangers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
