De'Shauna Riddick was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
As for Northview, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-16. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.
Like Druid Hills, Northview also got a great game from a two-way player: Jordyn Burdick.
