After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley, Waukee was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Roosevelt Roughriders. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Waukee's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 9-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Roughriders beat Waukee by a score of 7-2 later that day.
