Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Redwood Christian). They were the clear victor by a 43-19 margin over the Fremont Christian Warriors on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Amaya Rivas was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 15 points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilliana Faumuina, who put up nine points.

When it comes to explaining why Fremont Christian lost, don't look at Johanna So. Despite the final result, she had 12 points. Sarata Kaba was another key player, putting up five points.

Redwood Christian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Fremont Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redwood Christian and Bentley will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fremont Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Redwood Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
