Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasanton). They breezed past the Uniontown Eagles to the tune of 45-12 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Blu-Jays in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.
Pleasanton had a senior duo take command as Kam Staton threw for 207 yards and three TDs and Mario Davis picked up 152 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 152 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Davis.
Pleasanton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Staton, Hayden Mell, and Aiden Patrick picked up one apiece. The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Uniontown, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
