Football Game Preview: Archbishop Alter Knights vs. Bishop Fenwick Falcons

Archbishop Alter is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will challenge the Bishop Fenwick Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Archbishop Alter didn't have too much trouble with Bellbrook as they won 21-3.

Noah Jones was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 105 yards on only 11 carries.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Fenwick). They blew past Mt. Healthy 55-20 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Archbishop Alter now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Bishop Fenwick, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Archbishop Alter's way against Bishop Fenwick in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Archbishop Alter made off with a 21-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
