Softball Recap: South Hamilton Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

South Hamilton and Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS pushed the score to 15-7 the last time they played Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Hawks never let Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Hamilton's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14. As for Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

South Hamilton has already played their next game (against Grand View Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS, they will head out on the road to square off against Iowa Falls-Alden at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
