Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Takes a Loss

St. Andrew fell victim to Hilton Head Christian Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. While losing is never fun, St. Andrew's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 275th in Georgia, while Hilton Head Christian Academy are ranked 60th in South Carolina).

St. Andrew's has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Andrew's will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Frederica Academy at 7:00 p.m. on May 6. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
