Soccer Game Preview: Frontier vs. Mira Monte

The Frontier Titans will face off against the Mira Monte Lions at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Frontier is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past North 9-1 on Thursday. Kylee Faulkner was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Mira Monte took care of business in their home opener last Tuesday (and then some). They put the hurt on Wonderful College Prep Academy with a sharp 10-1 victory. With Mira Monte ahead 6-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Frontier's win bumped their record up to 5-0-2. As for Mira Monte, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Frontier took their win against Mira Monte in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Frontier repeat their success, or does Mira Monte have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
