Soccer Game Preview: Contreras vs. Belmont

The Contreras Cobras will head out on the road to take on the Belmont Sentinels at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Contreras and nine for Belmont.

Friday just wasn't the day for Contreras' offense. They came up short against Roybal on Friday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1129th, while the Titans are ranked 426th).

Meanwhile, Belmont lost 10-1 to Bernstein on Friday.

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Contreras, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11-1.
