Softball Recap: Wray/Yuma Has No Trouble Against Woodland Park + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Academy, Wray/Yuma was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Woodland Park Panthers.

Danyelle Davis was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Clara Oestman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

The win got Wray/Yuma back to even at 1-1. As for Woodland Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wray/Yuma will square off against Greeley Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Woodland Park, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Platte Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
