Softball Recap: Olive Takes a Loss

Olive fell victim to Drumright and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Tornadoes. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tornadoes: they've now lost four in a row.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Drumright, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6-1.

Looking ahead, Olive will head out to challenge Davenport at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Drumright, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 defeat against Depew on the 29th.
