Softball Game Preview: Tupelo Tigers vs. Stonewall Longhorns

Tupelo is 1-6 against Stonewall since August of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Longhorns at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Monday just wasn't the day for Tupelo's offense. They lost 12-0 to Byng on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Stonewall came up short against Turner on Thursday and fell 8-3. The Longhorns have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Tupelo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Stonewall, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16.
