Softball Recap: Unity Christian Comes Up Short

Unity Christian made up a huge gap compared to their last game against MOC-Floyd Valley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Dutchmen by a score of 7-5 on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Dutchmen recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Unity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against South O'Brien on the 19th. As for MOC-Floyd Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-6 loss against West Lyon on the 19th.
