Softball Recap: Delta Victorious

Delta took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Montrose, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers won by a run and slipped past the Red Hawks 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since September 5, 2024.

Jazlyn Naranjo was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August.

With the win, Delta broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-8. As for Montrose, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Montrose, they will be playing at home against Grand Junction at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
