Softball Recap: Limon Comes Up Short on the Road Against Weld Central

Limon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 16-1 to the Weld Central Rebels on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Badgers of the 16-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Limon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Kuhns, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Weld Central has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Limon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 24-0 defeat against University on the 22nd. As for Weld Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 18-12 loss against Delta on the 22nd.
