Baseball Recap: Pelham Comes Up Short

Pelham has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.45 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Baconton Charter Blazers, falling 15-3. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Blazers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Baconton Charter, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

Looking ahead, Pelham will face off against Pataula Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baconton Charter, they will take on Academy for Classical Education at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
