Softball Recap: Walton Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Walton took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against North Paulding, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Wolfpack on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since October 8, 2024.

Walton pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for North Paulding, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
