Baseball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-2 to the Schley County Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red Jackets have suffered since February 13th.

Jordan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Catlin, who scored two runs while going 1-for-1.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Schley County, their record is now 15-11.

Looking ahead, Jordan will host Carver at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.64 runs per game on average), something the Red Jackets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Schley County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Tift County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
