Volleyball Recap: Boulder Creek Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Boulder Creek had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Liberty Lions 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Boulder Creek took Liberty into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 25-22, 23-25, 15-6.

Despite the defeat, Liberty saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aiden Freeman had 12 digs.

Boulder Creek's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Boulder Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Red Mountain on the 8th. Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
