Soccer Recap: Brookwood Comes Up Short

Brookwood fought the good fight in their overtime game against Norcross on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 3-2. Brookwood just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Charles McDowell wasn't going to let Norcross walk away unscathed as he scored both of Brookwood's goals, bringing his season total up to ten goals.

Brookwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Norcross, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Brookwood is set to challenge their familiar foe North Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Norcross will face off against rival Duluth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
