Amarillo entered their tilt with Lake Creek on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lions. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sandies also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Amarillo's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Lake Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Amarillo and Lake Creek will both be playing Pearland the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Oilers at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, while the Sandies will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
