While Sperry's win against Skiatook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 8-7 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since October 3, 2024.

The win got Sperry back to even at 15-15. As for Skiatook, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sperry beat the Bulldogs by a score of 9-7 later that day.
